Chocolate for a Cure & Other Creative Fundraising Ideas
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society works tirelessly to create ways to raise money for cancer research. Certainly, every donation that they receive from groups like the NIR Group and individuals like Corey Ribotsky, makes a difference. Volunteers make a great difference as well.
One of their most creative fundraising efforts is called Chocolate for a Cure. They sell delicious chocolate bars as a way to make a “sweet” difference in someone’s life who is fighting cancer. You’ll receive 24 candy bars in each box and you’ll then be able to sell them to raise money to create more cancer research.
It’s hard to find a more inspirational story than this one. On Sunday, October 17th, the Nike Women’s Half Marathon will take place in San Francisco, California to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The money that is raised for this half marathon will help to stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.
