The Heather on Earth Music Foundation

The Heather on Earth Music Foundation is an organization supported by Michal Negrin, Generation Y, Songs of Love, Anna Karena and other organizations such as the NIR Group with Corey Ribotsky. It was established in memory of Heather Samone Fessler, and works to provide funding to support music therapy programs in children’s hospitals around the world.

The Heather on Earth program is unique in its wide range of music. They use music to help hospitalized patients and their families relax, while inspiring hope, peace, joy, distraction and calm. Studies have even shown that music can strengthen the immune system, lessen pain, alleviate stress and encourage patient interaction and cooperation.

This past week, on October 16, 2010, the Onyx and Breezy Foundation held its 6th Annual Black Tie Gala. The impressive event, held at the Park Ridge Marriott in Park Ridge, New Jersey, was a great success: A great time was had by all – and our animal friends will benefit enormously in the year to come.
