Reality-TV Revealed in ‘American Cannibal’, Exec Producer Corey Ribotsky

americancannibalphotoCorey Ribotsky’s first endeavor into the world of film was as one of the executive producers of ‘American Cannibal: The Road to Reality.’  This 2007 documentary, created by filmmakers Michael Nigro and Perry Grebin, is an expose of the world of reality-TV.

The concept is simple: create the ‘ultimate, ultimate’ survival show, and film the entire process. The audience sees just how far some people are willing to go for the fame and glory of stardom, even if its fleeting.
This is a biting critique of the American cultural pre-occupation with celebrities and its love of reality-TV.
